Guidance, not legal or compliance advice
Everything published here is general information. It is not legal advice, and it is not a compliance determination for your organisation. Your obligations are set by the clauses in your own contracts and by the regulations those clauses reference. Read them, and take professional advice where the stakes warrant it.
The tools
The SPRS calculator and any templates published here produce estimates and starting points. A calculator result is not an assessment and must not be submitted as one. Your posted SPRS score is your own attestation, made under your own responsibility, and carries legal consequences if inaccurate.
Accuracy and currency
Regulatory positions change, sometimes abruptly — the July 2026 suspension of CMMC Phase 2 being a recent example. We date our pages and correct them when we learn they are wrong, but we cannot guarantee that any page reflects the position on the day you read it. Verify anything load-bearing against the primary source.
